I haven't fished the jetty in the last couple of weeks, but my friends tell me they are catching limits of reds. They also said the mangrove snapper are thick, and gave me some giant fillets. The tarpon aren't as thick as they were before Dolly, but if you look hard enough they can still be found. T... |

Re: Help find a fishing spot...Hi there, guys. I have been fishing in Port A for a number of years with my son and have learned that the season and weather really affect where the fishing is good. Fishing Report Aug 1stWell the beaches at Port all the way down to Padre Island were absolutely filthy, I guess wash up from the storm, Anyway Fished at JP Luby and nothing, using dead shrimp, decided to go to Bob Hall pier Saturday morning, Fished with Menhayden..Nothing...
