On Saturday August 4th, trout were thick on the north jetty.
I had walked almost to the end when I saw the water explode. Bait was flying in the air, and I could see rips in the water where large fish were shootin through the bait. I thought they were jacks because of the wake behind the fish. I cast once and striped the line all the way to rocks without a hit. My second cast barely touched the water when it was devoured. Line shot off my reel, and the fish seemed to dive strait down. The fight didn't last very long, the fish decided to turn and swim strait at me. When I got it to the surface I was pleasantly surprised to see a 27 inch trout.  I caught five more trout that morning, and everyone else at the end of the jetty caught several trout all ,over 20 inches.

I saw two small Spanish macks caught on sunday, and a guy missed a king about half way down the jetty.
