Caught lots of black drum and a few reds on Saturday, May 10th off of the Lydia Ann Channel in the area of the lighthouse.  I hooked a 45 inch class red and brought him to the boat twice but pulled the hook out of his lip on his 3rd run.  My bad...I tried to horse him around while he was running because I didn't want him to get into the oyster reef he was headed toward.  Oh well, it was a good fight while it lasted (20 minutes).  We were using live shrimp on the bottom.  We also caught some undersized trout and 2 keepers.

Some friends of mine caught some nice reds in the area of Shamrock Island on live mullet.

The winds were pretty high making for rough water so we didn't even attempt to run out to the jetties.

Good Luck,
Mike
