The coldfront and Ike sparked what might be the fall redfish run. Bull reds are the talk of town, and the last three days have seen nonstop redfish action.  Charlie's pasture, Roberts' point, and the jetties have been hotspots. If you are in a boat, find a school and hold on. Schools of bull reds usually don't spook as easy as slot reds, and you can stay on them for hours.

Thanks for the report, Nathan! I'm headed down there this weekend. I know where Charlie's is. But where is Robert's Point? I'm staying on the island around 11th street. I'm considering taking my boat (17 ft. bass boat), but I'm not sure of a good place to put in without using the main harbor marina by the jetties. Not exactly keen on the big boats around that area. My little bass boat gets tossed around by them. I'm familiar with Shamrock, but I've only gone there to cast for mullet. I've seen boat trailers down there, but not too sure about pulling it into that loose sand. Any trout or spanish macks around?

Thanks again
