I finally got some fishing reports since the storm. One of my friends went out, with the family, on the 3rd and 4th. They caught some trout and caught reds all day long. I have had an amazing summer fishing at the jetty. Last week, in one day I caught trout, redfish, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, jack crevelle, sheep's head, mangrove snapper, and snook. I've also caught some blue fish this summer, one of which would have been the fly fishing state record. I need to start carrying the records around in my pocket. The surf has been consistently producing some giant trout. Don't worry there isn't any oil on our beaches.  Tight lines.

Nathan,

Would that be on the North or South Jetty. The family and I will be down the week of July 19th and I planned on taking the older kids fishing on the North Jetty. Just wondering how the fishing has been and how much a quart of shrimp is going for now.

Thanks,

Brad
