…The Bulls Are Running…&…The Flounder Are Making Their Move…
The bull reds are making their way through the channel from the flats to the gulf and the flounder are in and should be in full run by Halloween.  With the cooler weather and scattered showers fishing continues to please anglers with a variety of fish being caught.

Offshore fishermen have been catching blackfin tuna, shark, yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, barracuda, stingray, dorado, ling, amberjack, and red snapper.

Private charters have produced catches of black & yellow fin tuna, kingfish, red snapper, ling, dorado, shark and a nice variety of other fish.

The Jetties have been the producers of some nice reds this month with several 40”+ bull reds being caught along with some nice flounder and mangrove snapper.

Fishermen on Horace Caldwell Pier and in the surf have report catches of speckled trout, panish mackerel, sand trout, red fish, flounder, whiting, and sharks.

Fishermen on Charlie’s Pasture Fishing Pier, J.P. Luby Pier & Ancel Brundrett (Station Street) Pier have all reported nice catches of Bull reds, flounder and mangrove snapper.

Baits of choice this week.
Live Baits – shrimp, piggy perch, & mud minnows
Dead baits –fresh shrimp, squid and mullet.
Artificial baits – Gulp baits.
