A couple of days ago, I fished the jetty early in the morning. I caught two nice Spanish mackerel, before the weather got nasty. I also saw a guy catch two 25in plus trout, under a lemon rig. I decided to leave before my nine foot graphite lightning rod decided to catch more than fish.
That night I went fishing with my brother and his girlfriend. We caught several nice reds and trout. I also caught a 27 inch red with one eye. It's eye was completely scaled over. I guess it was born like that, or maybe it was was one of those fish that you accidentally hook through the eye when they are little. I think it is pretty impressive for a fish to grow that big with one eye. I got my brother to take a picture, I named him Lucky, and let him go. Remember you need to Login to see the pictures.

Sure enough, it has one scaled over eye. Really nice looking fish though.
