He gang,

I fished Port A this weekend.  Saturday--fished the N Jettie and caught some hard heads.  Birds in the Thousand range--beach side--but you couldn't get to the fish.  Wind, waves and seaweed were an issue.

Sunday: fished with my wife Kirsten and we caught 16 specs in 2 hours in Port A.  Every cast we had a bite and I kept 6--could have kept 12.  Great fishing again in Port A.

---State Record Bull Shark---
I was at Fisherman Wharf on Sunday PM and two guys asked me to help them move a Bull shark from the scale to the cleaning station so the old man could cut the jaw out of it.

The shark was at least 528 lbs and it has been registered as the state record.  It was caught in the bay in 12 feet of water on mullet.   It took the bait in 12 feet of water and it took the guys 2 1/2 hours to land.  The old state record was 508.  It appeared to be full of "pups".

Keep your eyes peeled for a news story about the fish.  Sorry I don;t have a pic, but my hands were too bloody from moving the thing.

It was huge!!
