Hay all,

Went to the Coast this weekend and had a great trip.  We caught 12 trout, 2 Reds, 1 small shark and a hard head all in just a few hours.  We released all but 6 trout and 1 redfish.

There were also Tarpon rolling near the end of the jetties.
It was a cool site to see.  Didn’t have anything to catch one on but it was a cool site to see these huge fish rolling near the rocks.

Hope to be back next weekend for some more fun fishing.

See Ya,  Mo

What day were you out on the Jetties?  North our South?

Hey Mofish, Good to see you on the board again. Were the Tarpon close enough to cast to? I'm going down Friday and would love to take some pictures.

Wow, I was out there in the morning and it was really really rough.  They must have been channel side?  I took the noon boat back with my wife and mom.

Did you see the size of the Black Drum the guys caught at the makeshift shelter about half way out?  They caught it at about 10 am.

Did you get all the Trout on the Jettie?

Thnak you for the help...give me a ping anytime if you are looking for some info.  I may hit it on Saturday?

Nathan,

Are you going to be out there on Saturday?  I am hoping to cast for some Sapnny Macs.

Kevin,
I plan on going out on the south jetty, at 6 or 6:15 in the morning. I may go to the north if the town is to busy, or the wind is to strong. If my plans change I will post on Friday. I always have a blue wading belt on, and usually have my fly rod

Hey N,

I will be driving down an Saturday Morning and, depending on the wind, I will be on the North Jettie.  If not I will be on the south.

I have a Green Back pack, Chris will be with me with a blue Backpac cooler and we will have our fly rods and a spinning rod each!  I ahve my 10wt and I would love to hook a tarpon, but so far (last year) I have only had follows!  It's a rough rod to fish for a long period of time.  I will also have my 8wt for spanny macs.
