My brother went fishing off the south jetty lastnight and caught trout in the twenties. I'm going to check it out in the morning.

Went out this morning with my fly rod. Caught two Spanish mackerel at the very end. I also caught 15 or 20 of the little fish with the yellow that stings you. I can't remember what they are called. I should have fished where my brother fished. There were three guys there with a stringer full of trout. The weather wasn't bad until about 10:30. No wind- No rain. It should be sunnier tomorrow morning. I'll keep you posted.

Does anyone know where the spoils are on the North Jetty?  I have never been able to locate them.  Is the trout fishing better on the channel or gulf side?
